November News

NEWS For NOVEMBER

We have been making the most of these glorious autumn days and have been busy collecting some huge leaves and very shiny conkers to add to our autumn display in the hall. We really enjoyed taking part in the Shepton School Harvest Service in the church and listening to the harvest songs.  After half term our topics will be bonfires, fireworks and remembrance week.

Crafty Christmas – 25th November 10am-12pm. We are looking forward to our fun craft morning – loads of glitter and sticky glue. Come and make as much mess as you like and we will clear up! Father Christmas will be here and you can enjoy homemade cakes and bacon butties.

Bonfire and Fireworks – 4th November. We will be selling toffee apples, sweets and popcorn during the evening. Come and join us for your sugary treats – just behind The Village Hall in Shepton Beauchamp.

Recycling – old pens, biros, felt tips?  We would love them! We also collect used computer ink cartridges, biscuit wrappers and trigger sprays from cleaning products – see our website for more details.

TODDLER GROUP. Our next meeting will be Thursday 2nd November. All ages from babies to Pre-School aged children are very welcome. Friendly group – lots of chatter and coffee for grown-ups and fun for children too! Come anytime from 9-11.15am.
